EducationThere are some excellent resources
online to aid post-secondary students in finding and getting into the program that best
meets their needs. These include:
- BC
Transfer Guide - a guide to transferability of courses between post-secondary
institutions in BC. Just one of the online resources offered by the BC Council on
Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT).
- Opening Doors - "Your guide to post-secondary education in
British Columbia... information on program lengths, application dates, tuition
costs, admission requirements and much more, for over 1,700 programs at BC's 28 public
post-secondary institutions." Also "information on studying in BC,
including institution descriptions, follow-up student surveys (Outcomes), student
financial planning, international student information, and much more."
- Post-secondary
Application Service of British Columbia (PASBC) - "makes applying for public
post-secondary education quick and easy. Eighteen of BC's universities, university
colleges, colleges, and institutions are now accepting applications through Canada's first
Internet application-for-admission service. To help you with your application decisions,
the PASBC site also provides information on post-secondary education in BC, links to
educational resources and institutions and financial assistance information and
links."
